Love the vibe here with the old Thai movie posters and products from Thailand visible on the shelves. Bangkok BAR does the classics well and the staff are mostly from Thailand so they grew up with the items on the menu. Love the beef larb and crying tiger.

Food: The food here is delicious! I would recommend their pad see ew and green or red curry. Every dish comes with a choice of chicken, beef, pork, shrimp or tofu. Prices depending on the protein you select. The pork larb salad was nothing special; other places have better larb than this place so I would skip ordering this here. Thai iced tea is also good here. Service: Staff are friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: This place is located in the Industry City food hall. This restaurant has maybe 15-18 counter seats, but there is plenty of seating in the food hall to eat your food. Overall, I would recommend this place!

Had a grandson who couldnt decide what or where to eat. We picked this place and I am super happy we did. He had GF Pad Thai (yay for gf) and I had the Drunken Nooden with beef. Amazing choice, lots to eat, enjoying leftovers today. It's a little bit out of my range, but when I'm in area --this will be the place to stop and take home if it's not meal time!

What a pleasant surprise. I came here for an early dinner after work and I was greeted by the sweetest guy. His energy was infectious and made me feel comfortable after a long day of driving and dealing with crazies. Now the food: no funny, this is the best pad see ew I've ever had. There was an abundance of beef (pause) and the flavor was delicious. So tasty. I really cannot wait to go back and try other dishes! Also, the seating area was perfect. It was peaceful and the decor was super cool.

Located inside Industry City, this spot feels like a hole-in-the-wall bar with a Southeast Asia vibe on a hot summer day - perfect for a quick, authentic eat. The food was fresh, delicious, and true to its roots. I was thinking of ordering Khao Soy but it's no longer on the menu and their mango sticky rice is seasonal as always. ORDERED: Me: Pad Thai & Thai Ice Tea: the Pad Thai was so fresh and delicious in every bit. The portion was so decently sized that i was so full after. The Thai iced tea was perfect. Anna: Pad See Ew & bottle water They accept cash, credit card, and Apple Pay. All in order, I recommend this place and would come back again.

Bangkok BAR is located inside Industry City. My commute from Queens to Sunset Park was about 2 hours. It was less than a 10-minute walk from the 36 St subway station. The weather was in the high 70s today. My good friend Cynthia Z. and I decided to try Bangkok BAR. The ambiance was perfect for our lunch date. I told the cashier about my food allergies. Drinks Cynthia Z. - Thai Iced Tea Me - Poland Spring Water Noodles Cynthia Z. - Pad Thai (GF) + Shrimp Me - Pad See Ew + Shrimp: The Pad See Ew was my favorite Thai noodle dish stir-fried with shrimp, egg, Chinese broccoli, and sweet soy sauce. One word: Scrumptious Bookmark this spot to try!

Bangkok Bar is of my favorite finds!! Thank you for introducing me to Khua Kling- I cannot get enough of this dish and now I'm always on the hunt whenever we go anywhere that specializes in Southern Thai cuisine. We've also tried the Khuy Teaw Kua, which I highly recommend if you like broad noodles. They do a great job of making everything very flavorful without it being too salty. And I love that their thai iced tea has an intense flavor and isn't overly sweet. The staff are very friendly and I always make it a point to pick up something from Bangkok Bar whenever we eat at Industry City. If you haven't been to Industry City (look it up!), where Bangkok Bar is located, highly recommend you budget an afternoon to grab a bite here at the food court and then walk around to see the various installations, grab some dessert, and play some petanque at Carreau Club. Industry City is the absolute best.

Leave it to Brooklyn to totally nail it on the Thai food! While visiting NYC we trekked out to Brooklyn to pick up some household things, and this small eatery was nearby. It is located in a building that houses many open air restaurants. We had a hard time deciding which to choose.... But as soon as I took my first bite of my chicken pad Thai I knew we had chosen wisely. I'm fussy about the quality of the peanuts, the sauce ratio, and the proper "hint of lime" in my pad Thai. My tastebuds were thrilled that this dish needing absolutely no adjusting.

Very impressed by their flavorful curry dishes, and very friendly service! Would absolutely come back to try more of their menu! 4.5/5 Massaman Curry -- loved the spices in this curry (very mildly spicy - especially great for those who have a lower spice tolerance), roasted peanuts and fried onions were a very nice touch as well. 4.2/5 Penang Curry -- also very flavorful, 2/5 on the spicy scale, tons of beef and veggies Barstool counter seating with quick service and attentive staff members!

Cool little Thai spot in Industry City. If you're looking for a quick, fresh bite, I'd definitely recommend Bangkok Bar. The seating here is limited but I love that you can see your food being made if you sit by their bar area. I was looking for a quick snack/lighter lunch and opted to try their Fried Shrimp Rolls. They were ready in a flash and were served piping hot, with a sweet plum sauce on the side. The perfect option if you're looking for something quick and not overly filling. While the wintery weather wouldn't allow for it, I did spy a cute outdoor seating area which is a nice option for the warmer months. Service was fast and friendly, and the open kitchen area was spotless. Would definitely stop in and try their noodle dishes in the future.
